BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College Athletic Hall of Honor has announced their ninth class, scheduled for induction at next fall’s Homecoming weekend. The six distinguished individuals to be welcomed on Saturday, October 2, span five decades of Polar Bear athletics and include some of the most recognizable names in the history of the institution.

ORONO, Maine — University of Maine men’s ice hockey standout Gustav Nyquist (Malmo, Sweden) and men’s swimming and diving star Jeremy Bender (St. Paul, Minn.) were each named to the ESPN The Magazine / CoSIDA Academic All-District Second Team on Thursday, May 20.
